Students will expand on their rocketry knowledge to create more in-depth rockets that fly farther, have multiple stages, or have other unique attributes. This class is for students who have previously taken Intro to Rocketry, or have other prior experience with rocket building.

Let's get movin' this summer! Students will engage in favorite indoor and outdoor PE games. Games will incorporate aspects of teambuilding, competition, and strategy.
10:00 Bookies Reading Club (3-6)

Grades: 3-6
Students will read high interest novels, discussing and completing activities related to the text. Participants will keep journals and work on various activities during our time together. Students will be able to share their perspectives and responses to the books. In addition, this course will develop vocabulary, broaden imagination, improve writing skills, and increase reading stamina.

Everything is awesome at Camp Lego! This class will be a combination of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) activities, free building, and thoughtful play. Students will have a chance to work collaboratively, complete challenges, and have fun!

Come get your craft on! Participants will create their own crafterpieces each day in both guided and ope. Class offers both guded crafting as well as more open-ended engagement in the creative process.

Are you inspired by a comic book to create a comic book of your own? In this class, you will develop your own characters and stories using pencils, pens, markers, paper, and iPads. You will learn the importance of detail and the techniques of line, perspective, and balance used in the graphic novel world of comic books. This will be an excellent opportunity to practice creative writing and storytelling through your character and plot development. There will be drawing games to help you improve your skills.

Become a roving reporter this summer for Explorations News! Learn the basic structure of newswriting and tackle a variety of articles including Explorations news and happenings, local news, national news, weather, sports, book/movie/gaming reviews, interviews with staff and students, puzzles, cartoons, and more. There is something for everyone in this newsworthy class!
