Students will expand on their rocketry knowledge to create more in-depth rockets that fly farther, have multiple stages, or have other unique attributes. This class is for students who have previously taken Intro to Rocketry, or have other prior experience with rocket building.

This class is for those of you who love dogs and want to dive deeper into the canine phenomena! Students will learn about different breeds and interesting dog history. They will have their own "pet" dog to take care of by making clothes, a bed, and more. They will engage in activities like making dog treats and toys to be donated to a local shelter and engage in other dog-related crafts and activities. Therapy dogs will be visiting, as well!

Calling all animal lovers! Join us this summer as we dive into the fascinating life of sea turtles. Students will learn about sea turtles' life cycle and their amazing journey from hatching and beyond. We will also focus on other exciting animal groups, such as big cats, birds, reptiles, and more.

Camp Lego is all about building, creativity and STEAM! Using Legos and accessories, students will engineer, build communities, model and explore STEAM concepts. With a perfect blend of structured learning and open-ended play, the Camp Lego will spark creativity and foster critical thinking.

Kids will explore visual storytelling by reading graphic novels and creating their own cartoons. Readers, writers, and illustrators will have the opportunity to use their creativity in developing their visual literacy in this fun & hands-on class.

Learn the basic structure of newswriting and tackle a variety of articles including Exploration's news and happenings, local news, national news, weather, sports, book/movie/gaming reviews, interviews with staff and students, puzzles, cartoons, and more. There is something for everyone in this newsworthy class!

The Original Kids in the Kitchen summer class for young chefs is a culinary carnival! Dive into the world of cooking, where each day brings a new recipe to make and savor. We'll spice it up with essential kitchen safety tips to ensure a sizzling yet safe experience. Plus, every chef gets a cookbook and personalized apron to take home, turning them into kitchen rockstars! Eating our creations is a vital part of the fun. While we don't use nuts in our recipes, please be aware that we can't guarantee accommodations for severe food allergies or gluten-free diets. Get ready for a summer of fun, flavors, and lots of tasty memories!
