Grades: 1-3

Camp Lego is all about building, creativity and STEAM! Using Legos and accessories, students will engineer, build communities, model and explore STEAM concepts. With a perfect blend of structured learning and open-ended play, the Camp Lego will spark creativity and foster critical thinking.

Grades: 3-8

Kids will explore visual storytelling by reading graphic novels and creating their own cartoons. Readers, writers, and illustrators will have the opportunity to use their creativity in developing their visual literacy in this fun & hands-on class.

Grades:4-6

Come get your craft on! Participants will create their own crafterpieces each day. Class offers both guded crafting as well as more open-ended engagement in the creative process.

Become a roving reporter this summer for Exploration News! Learn the basic structure of newswriting and tackle a variety of articles including Exploration's news and happenings, local news, national news, weather, sports, book/movie/gaming reviews, interviews with staff and students, puzzles, cartoons, and more. There is something for everyone in this newsworthy class!

The Original Kids in the Kitchen summer class for young chefs is a culinary carnival! Dive into the world of cooking, where each day brings a new recipe to make and savor. We'll spice it up with essential kitchen safety tips to ensure a sizzling yet safe experience. Plus, every chef gets a cookbook and personalized apron to take home, turning them into kitchen rockstars! Eating our creations is a vital part of the fun. While we don't use nuts in our recipes, please be aware that we can't guarantee accommodations for severe food allergies or gluten-free diets. Get ready for a summer of fun, flavors, and lots of tasty memories!

Grades: 1-4

Awesome arts and crafts class where students will be encouraged to express their creativity while working on a variety of projects! Students will use watercolor, acrylic, and tempera paints, Mod Podge, tissue, construction, and designer papers, and many other mediums while creating their crafts! Hanging paper bag star, wax paper suncatcher, and decoupage box are just a few crafty creations students will definitely be proud to display!

Grades: 2-5

The class will help students with their everyday life skills, including folding clothes, tying shoes, setting the table, table manners, writing letters/emails, helping with laundry, and a few other skills. We will do hands on activities to practice these skills.
